Based on a short story, Call of the Wild 3D is a tale for dog lovers everywhere. Christopher Lloyd stars as a widower who looks after his young granddaughter while her parents are away. The story evolves when an injured wolf dog is found outside the house one evening. The granddaughter wants to take the dog home to Boston as a pet, but of course the wolf will eventually need to be returned to the wild. Lloyd tries to prepare her for the impending return by reading Jack London's "Call of the Wild" each night ... but she befriends a local boy who helps her train the animal to become a sled dog leader.
